We all have times in our lives when our patience and our endurance seem to be running low. Times that we may even think that we can't take it anymore. When that happens to you remember that our Heavenly Father is a GOD OF PATIENCE AND COMFORT. (ROMANS 15:5) He is always there for us, and will lead us out of our problems if we practice patience.

Now we learn by reading the Scriptures that patience is a Virtue. FOR WHATEVER THINGS WERE WRITTEN BEFORE WERE WRITTEN FOR OUR LEARNING, THAT WE THROUGH THE PATIENCE AND COMFORT OF THE SCRIPTURES MIGHT HAVE HOPE. (ROMANS 15:4)...

Further by learning about how God has handled things in the past gives us knowledge of how He will handle the future as well. Remember the story of Job and how he endured? The Bible tells us: INDEED WE COUNT THEM BLESSED WHO ENDURE. YOU HAVE HEARD OF THE PATIENCE OF JOB AND SEEN THE END INTENDED BY THE LORD-THAT THE LORD IS VERY COMPASSIONATE AND MERCIFUL. (JAMES 5:11)

So never give up, wait patiently and be sure: THAT YOU DO NOT BECOME SLUGGISH, BUT IMITATORS OF THOSE WHO THROUGH FAITH AND PATIENCE INHERIT THE PROMISES. (HEBREWS 6:12)

Therefore Brothers & Sisters, MAY THE LORD DIRECT YOUR HEART INTO THE LOVE OF GOD AND INTO THE PATIENCE OF CHRIST. (2 THES 3:5) and: LET PATIENCE HAVE ITS PERFECT WORK, THAT YOU MAY BE PERFECT AND COMPLETE, LACKING NOTHING. Amen.(JAMES 1:4)

Participate in the BIGGEST & MOST AMBITIOUS Filipino Photography Project in the Region!
** Calling all Filipino Photograpers in the Gulf
In line with our commitment to uplift the Filipino community - ILLUSTRADO will be providing a platform for the Filipino creative community across the Gulf with which to achieve recognition and prominence in our host countries and in the Philippines, at the same time contributing to the development of the photographic art/discipline in the region.

We are inviting all Filipino Photography Clubs and Photographers at all levels (professional, hobbyists and amateurs) to participate in the biggest and most ambitious Pinoy photography project in the region - the Filipino Photography Biennial, a coffee table book to be published every two years showcasing the works of Filipino photographers in the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2010’s theme - “The Gulf through the Eyes of a Filipino Photographer” will be captured in five photographic categories: Landscape and Architecture (local), Heritage and Culture (local), Pinoy Slice of Life, Fashion, and Beauty (Filipino).

We are also calling all Filipino photography clubs in the region to participate and help us shape this worthwhile project that will boost our community. For each participating org, we will be inviting a representative to join the selection panel.

ATTENTION ALL ECE-UNDER BOARD:
In behalf of IECEP UAE, I am calling once again the attention of all ECE graduates who currently resides and work in UAE to take the Special Professional Licensure Board Examination (SPLBE) which is scheduled on November 2010 in Abu Dhabi , United Arab Emirates . This program started last year in accordance with Executive Order No. 835 dated 06 October 2009 that states "Professional Regulation Commission's (PRC) to conduct yearly examination in the Middle East" . This is a clear opportune that reach out professional OFW's in taking licensure examination outside Philippines which we need not to take for granted.

Last month, we already sent announcement thru email and website regarding this program but only few responded. I just want to make clear that as much as IECEP UAE wanted to conduct ECE review for the examinees, it will only be possible if there were enough number of participants who will join since it is not practical to pay the venue for few students only.
