PAG-IBIG CONTRIBUTION MANDATORY EFFECTIVE 01 AUG 2010

ATTENTION: OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS
Aside from OWWA contribution, effective 01 August 2010, POEA has implemented a mandatory PAG-IBIG contribution to all Filipino workers upon registering the Filipino worker as a registered OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) with the initial payment contribution of covering 6 months.

Those who were hired outside the Philippines will also be required of PAG-IBIG contribution as it will be a requirement to apply for Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) / POEA travel clearance. NO PAG-IBIG, No OEC & No POEA Registration.
